Bio

Chum has been writing and developing creatively for years and is represented by Mollison Keightley Management as a writer. His first produced short film Interrogation was funded by the Film and TV Institute in WA. His short stage play Duende was selected for the 2015 ABC USA Diversity showcases in both Los Angeles and New York. It was performed on stage and adapted into a short film, which was distributed by ABC TV USA.

Chum has developed TV shows with Scooter Braun Productions, creators of FX’s number 1 show, Dave, as well as projects in the US with Jim Parsons and Eric Norsoph at That’s Wonderful Productions (Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon); Renate Radford at Elizabeth Banks’ Brownstone Productions (Pitch Perfect), and Max Broude (Arrested Development) at Sarah Silverman’s Jash Media. He has co-written and developed projects with Jaffar Mahmoud (EP, Young Sheldon).

His feature film Karma Chameleon received development funding from ScreenWest and GoalPost Productions, and he has a TV show Start Up in development with CJZ productions. Chum was a writer in 3 development rooms, Marriage Agency for Jungle Entertainment, season 2 of The Last Days or the Space Age for Disney + Australia and Separated at Birth for Binge. Chum is also creative Executive Producer in charge of script development for the feature film How To Talk Australians with Guilty and Tony Rogers (Wilfred), currently in post-production with a release date of early 2024.
