Sharon Millerchip
Actor / Creative / Directing / Movement

In addition to her formidable track record as Australia’s music theatre triple threat par excellence, Sharon has seamlessly transitioned from leading lady to director. Since stepping out from under the spotlight, Sharon made her directorial debut in 2014 working on the Baz Luhrmann/Global Creatures’ musical, Strictly Ballroom, as Children’s Director and she was also the show’s Resident Director. Most recently she’s been Resident Director on the Walt Disney musical, Aladdin. Other directing projects include: Cause Celeb: Actors’ Equity 75th Birthday Concert as the Artist Liaison Co-ordinator and the Hayes Theatre Inaugural Fundraiser Concert. She is currently the Australian Resident Director for Six – The Musical (Louise Withers/Michael Coppel/Linda Bewick).

The combination of Sharon’s award-winning talents – no less than 3 Helpmann Awards – and unparalleled industry experience make her uniquely qualified as a director.
