Xander Ellis

Xander is a multi-disciplined Actor, Dancer, Dance Captain, coach & Choreographer.

In 2019 he was the Assistant Resident Choreographer for The Illusionist (The Illusionist UK – Australian Tour) and has been the ‘Dance Captain’ for many mainstage musicals including the Australian tour of Priscilla Queen of the Dessert (Michael Cassel) and Anything Goes (GFO).

He made his professional acting debut in the hit musical Wicked at the age of 18.  Other acting credits include:  Priscilla Queen of the Desert,  the Australian tour of Ghost (cover Carl Brunner) and the Opera Australia/John Frost touring co-production of Anything Goes as Fred/Ensemble (cover Captain). He reprised his role as the Cop/Ensemble in the Helpmann award-winning production of Sweet Charity, following its previous sell-out success at the Hayes Theatre in Sydney. His other credits include, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Madam Butterfly (Opera Australia), Grease(Kenicke cover), Rock of Ages where he played the role of Joey Primo (Drew cover), and Dein Perry’s  Australian Tour of Tap Dogs.
