Haris is an emerging writer, actor and producer from Sydney.

As an actor, Haris’s credits have included a range of Australian stage and screen productions including Home and Away and Chronic Dreams

Haris recently made his film-making debut in The Boy Who Was Afraid of Everything a five by seven web-series he co-wrote and produce whilst also playing the lead character of Ali. The project was a finalist for The ABC Pitch iView competition in 2020 and he won Best Performance at SERIES FEST, Independent Comedy Pilot 2024. Haris is currently in the process of developing the project into a longer format television series.

Haris is also currently working on a slate of different projects, including feature films and half-hour shows.

Haris is mostly drawn to telling character-driven stories that often look into themes of grief, mental health, family, and discovery – whilst finding the levity in these situations. He hopes to create feel-good stories that leave audiences in a  better place.

As a producer, Haris has studied at AFTRS.

When he is not acting, writing or making films – you can find Haris finding the best ice-cream in Sydney or occasionally doing stand-up around Newtown.
